Best of Oral Abstracts Award
GI Cancer Trials recognises outstanding oral abstract presentations by presenting the Best of Oral Abstracts Award at each ASM. The award provides an opportunity for peers to acknowledge exceptional contributions to the group and its meeting. Up to three abstracts may be selected for oral presentation, with a chance to win the Best of Oral Abstracts Award. The final selection of abstracts for oral presentation will be made by the ASM Executive Committee.

Assessment criteria
The presentations will be judged on the following criteria:
- Quality of presentation (fluency & clarity)
- Audience engagement
- Use of allocated presentation time
- Confidence in handling questions & quality of answers provided (during Q&A)
- Topic is aligned to the ASM theme
